SWARNA JAYANTI SHAHARI ROZGAR YOJANA (SJSRY), Under the component Skill Training for Employment Promotion amongst Urban Poor (STEP-UP), GOVERNMENT OF INDIA, “PHYSIOTHERAPY NURSE”,A 6 (SIX MONTHS) COURSE, Conducted by NABAJYOTI PHYSIOTHERAPY RESEARCH CENTER, DERGAON – 785614, ORGANIZED BY, DERGAON MUNICIPAL BOARD, DERGAON – 785614.

    The study material is tried to prepare according to the guidelines given by the Swarna Jayanti Shahari Rozgar Yojana, under the component Skill Training for Employment Promotion amongst Urban Poor (STEP-UP), Government of India for paramedical and Physiotherapy. This study material includes the basics of physiotherapy and the basics of Paramedical. After studying the guidelines given by the the Swarna Jayanti Shahari Rozgar Yojana, under the component Skill Training for Employment Promotion amongst Urban Poor (STEP-UP), Government of India, it is seen that the course should be a duration of 6 months. But, neither the basics of physiotherapy nor the basics of Paramedical can be studied within this short period. Therefore, a course named “PHYSIOTHERAPY NURSE” is prepared in which the trainee will learn to help a consultant physiotherapist.

    After completing this course the trainee will be engaged them in a physiotherapy Clinic to help the physiotherapists, can work in a hospital, can engaged them in doing injections, first aid in the emergency conditions, fluid transfusions etc. All the chapters have been written in a very simple manner and clearly expressed.

    Hope this course will help the trainee in income generation in their life.
